We continue the series that began last week, which aims to approach the creators of all those pieces we admire. Started with  Alvar Aalto, and this week we dedicate this post to another Finnish: Eero Arnio.

Born in 1932, he studied art at the Art and Design University of Helsinki (currently  Aalto University), beetween 1954 and 1957.

Strongly influenced by the ideas of Charles and Ray Eames, it would be in the sixties when created his most famous designs. Known primarily from the year 1962 when,

after experimenting with fiberglass, created the Ball Chair.
